As soon as Legion-12 used the Mind Plague divine ability, the god of dreams disappeared. Both the god of dreams and the Dream Domain disappeared, leaving behind the subordinate god.
The subordinate god of dreams had deactivated the Dream Domain and allowed it to take the god of dreams away. After she did this, she also slipped away.
Or at least, she tried to slip away. But an invisible spear formed with the Mental Armament divine ability tore through the air and smashed into her just as her body became faint.
Her power was many times weaker than that of the god of killing, so even though the Mental Armament divine ability was only meant for attacking the first layer of the mind, it still tore through the second layer of her mind and annihilated the third layer of her mind.
Her ego was injured directly. It wasn't shattered, so she was in no danger of having the connection between her body and her soul severed. But for the moment, she forgot what she was doing and who she was.
