Any god can create an authority with their innate talent and some sacrificed power, but very few gods can create an authority that is capable of creating a high god. After all, not every god has the complete power of four pathways to sacrifice into their innate authority.
So Legion went from being a godling to becoming a god and becoming a high god all in one hour. This didn't shock them because it felt normal to them. In fact, they felt that they deserved it for experiencing all the pain that they went through in order to bring their power to the past.
As they advanced to become the high god of adaptation, their divine body, their divine soul, and the authority of Adaptation fused into one existence. This existence reminded them of the existence of a high god.
It made Legion-2 say in understanding, "No wonder high gods can resurrect after death as long as their pathway exists. They have become one with their pathway in the same way that origin gods have fused with their concept."
