Sapphire's Pov
As I opened the door into house I had voices coming from dinner room, so that I won't make my presence known I stood by the wall far from the dinner with use of my heightened hearing I started eavesdropping. Of course mom said it's bad to eavesdrop but I and Crystal feel this is an important matter that concerns us.
" Not only is her eyes different among wolves but it is rare" I heard Beta Dayton said " what is that supposed to mean" my dad asked back in an harsh tone he doesn't use with us " Sean she is a threat, the last wolf that has that kind of coat was a curse on his pack" Beta Dayton said in a weak voice.
My mom gasps and let out a soft cry, I can hear my dad comforting her. " Are you saying my baby will grow up to be dangerous" my mom said between cries. "Of course not Amelia, the wolf he is talking about in the legend had a white coat and a blood red eyes Sapphire is not that she has a white coat and a golden eyes instead of a glowing silvery eyes that is expected of her" dad interjected.
"Sean, Marcus is worried what if her golden eyes turn out to be a decoy." Beta Dayton said. " Look Crystal is Sapphire's wolf I know what she is capable of doing and she doesn't seem like a bloody legend to me, Marcus has nothing to be worried about" dad said.
Having heard dad said that about Crystal I can't but feel more proud of my father, I let out a sigh and I walk to dinner putting up a non suspicious face.
"Hello uncle Dayton" I said walking to the fridge to get water "Hello dad, hello mom" I continued "Hello Sappire" he answered "I need to get back to the pack house, Marcus needs me" with that he leaves the house.
