Beneath the cloud mist was a tranquil lake, its depth unknown; but if those clouds outside were to be erased, one could easily see to the bottom of the lake.
Countless Divine Runes were carved below, embodying the essence of countless Great Daos.
Emperor Shun stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the bottom of the lake, his eyes seemingly wandering.
"Your Majesty, why are you here?"
A gentle call came from behind. Emperor Shun did not turn his head, his eyes revealing a trace of vitality, the corners of his mouth curving into a slight smile.
