The collective pressure of the Undeathly forces fell on Aigas in a brash tide. The Deities, Fulgardt and Skullius regarded it with wariness. It only surged forth stronger when those responsible for it made their move.
From Sobbo's ship, fifty out of one hundred and twenty Death Knights at his disposal leaped down and fell like stars into Aigas.
Each one was a formidable opponent. They were unlike Rias' newborn Death Knights, which had no experience. They were old monsters that had raided worlds, learned how to fight legions of living beings, and stole warring methodologies and techniques. They bore the scars and scrapes on their bones and armor to prove it.
Even for a mere Lich – a lower mortal Undeath master – the formula for producing such things, such Divine things, was a trifle to practice.
