The "Child of the Invisible" does not have the peculiarity of dying entirely when its nest is destroyed. Instead, like most animals, when their nest is destroyed, they furiously attack the person who destroyed it.
Shard's idea was to destroy the nest and then find an opportunity to escape while the Children of the Invisible temporarily fell into chaos, so he only had one chance:
"Guide me later."
He said in his mind, counting silently to himself three-two-one, and the pistol that was originally pointed at the sky swiftly aimed at the clearing.
The trigger pulled, the second Demon Bullet was consumed and fired. Again, it was a soundless strike; in an instant, even the moonlight from the Source of Chaos was compressed to its limit, and when the light range of that Treasure Bead returned to normal, Shard saw that a large hole had exploded in the snowy ground of the clearing.
