According to the original plan, after Shard took a short rest, the group set out to leave the campsite. Since Dorothy wasn't good at horse riding, Shard shared a horse with her, while Tifa and the other two maids rode the other three horses.
The group spent a rather leisurely afternoon in the outskirts during early spring. Dorothy, who wasn't skilled at horse riding, also challenged Shard to a horse race on the deserted country road, with the agreement that the loser must fulfill one request from the winner.
The Outlander wasn't so foolish as to need "her" reminder to know not to win this kind of race. Sure enough, when Dorothy crossed the finish line first, the wish she whispered to Shard was:
"Knight, let me stay over at your place tonight."
