Chapter 22 - Day 2.1

The arcade was fun. It was my first time playing in an arcade and I loved it. Every game was fun. I couldn't win any game except the shooting balloons and won a little unicorn soft toy. Fortunately, he loved it. He was so happy to get the unicorn that for a moment I forgot he was older than me. He seemed like a little kid, happy and satisfied with that little toy.

"Wow, it's lunch time already." I said, checking my watch. We were seated on a waiting bench, taking some rest.

"Yeah, time sure flies. The movie was awesome. You missed it." He smiled and stuck his tongue out like a kid.

I smiled back, not having the heart to tell him I had already watched it.

"I don't watch much movies you know. So I like every movie I watch once in a while." he laughed at himself.

"I watch a lot of movies though. Guess you will have to start watching with me regularly now."

"Sure." He grinned. "Let's go for lunch. I am getting hungry."

I nodded, pulling his cheeks. "Sure, let's go. Oh by the way, there is a book fair nearby. Do you want to go there after lunch?"

"Oh okay. How did you know about the fair?"

"Oh, there was this young girl distributing brochures about her store in the book fair. I like book fairs so I took the brochure."

He nodded. "Ah, that young girl you were talking to while buying pop corn?"

I nodded. "Yes."

"Okay, sure. I like fairs too."

I smiled. "Do you?" He had told me before about how he wasn't interested in books. But book fairs were different. With books, there were other stuffs too there.

He flushed. "Y-Yes I do."

We had our lunch in a nice restaurant and made our way to the book fair, following the directions of the address from the brochure. I love book fairs. My dad and I always visited every book fair organized. And from that, I started to love reading. So it felt such a waste to miss book fairs.

"Hey?" He called.

"Yeah?" I replied, staring ahead at the road.

"Let's stop by a convenience store after the fair." He seemed hesitant.

"Why?"

He didn't reply.

I turned to glance at him. He wasn't looking at me.

I turned back to the road. "Why?" I repeated.

"Just. I-I have something to buy."

"Oh okay." I couldn't understand so I shrugged it off.

He stared out of the window. I noticed his ears turning red.

The book fair was crowded. I parked the car under a tree and killed the engine. I unbuckled my seat belt and turned to face him. He was still looking out of the window. I frowned.

"You okay?" I asked.

He flinched a little and turned to look at me. "Oh. Y-Yeah." His cheeks were flushed.

"You look a little lost." I said, reaching to place my hand over his forehead. His temperature was high. "Are you sick? Seems like a fever."

"Oh. No no. It's not."

I clutched his hands and they were cold. "Weird. You are burning but your hands are cold."

"It's nothing. I am fine." he was clearly avoiding my eyes.

What was that odd behavior?

I wanted to say more but let go. His behavior was odd and unreadable. Did I do something wrong? Was he mad because I fell asleep during the movie? I couldn't figure out.

"Let's go." He said with a small smile.

I realized the sky had started to turn gray as I got out of the car. It would probably rain again. As we collected our tickets and made our way into the fair, I couldn't help but look out for him once in a while. He was suddenly silent and looked like he was in a deep thought. Not being able to bear, I held his hand. He was stunned and looked around.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

I stared at him. "Nothing. Just holding your hand. You look lost."

He opened his mouth to say something but exhaled instead. "I am sorry. I was just distracted by a thought."

I raised my eyebrows. "What thought?"

He shook his head. "Nothing." He said, biting his lips.

I frowned.

"Oh look! Let's go there." He pointed to a book store and dragged me towards it.

We looked around at some books. They had good collection. But their collections were so famous that I had already read them before and there was nothing to buy. So we looked at other stores and I found some good business books and bought them for my dad.

"Why is Shakespeare's English so hard to understand?" He cried, reading and trying to understand some sonnets.

I laughed. "That's the old English. Hard to understand. And it's poetry so you can have your own interpretations."

His eyebrows shot up. "Really?"

I nodded. "Yeah. You can interpret it the way you understand even though it is completely different from it's main theme."

"Oh...Okay. I want to buy this book of sonnets."

I smiled. "Sure. Let me tell you an interesting fact."

"What?"

"Half of Shakespeare's poems are dedicated to a young boy and nobody knows who."

He gasped. "Was Shakespeare..."

I shook my head. "We don't know that. But half of his sonnets are expressing his love and grievances about the young man."

He nodded, mouth open in amazement. "That's interesting. I will purchase this book instantly and read and try to understand the sonnets."

I smiled. "Sure." And he seemed like he was back to his bubbly self.

After hanging around the food corner and eating a few things, we made our way to find the store we had the brochure of. It was situated at the far end corner and it was huge. It had varieties of items as the young girl had said, from home decorations to body necessities. We looked around and spotted a section with old antiques.

"This mirror looks so sophisticated like a queen's." He said in awe, fiddling with an old victorian hand mirror.

I nodded, looking around. The collection was beautiful but nothing caught my eye for any purchase.

"Kwan Kwan." He called.

I turned around to see him holding a pink and golden antique box. "What?"

"Buy this for your mother. It's a jewellery box."

I walked to him and took the box from his hand, studying it.

"It is the best gift for those who loves jewelries. I bought one for my mother last year and she loved it. She also often shows it off infront of her friends. Take this for your mother. This box is so beautiful. She will be easily able to show it off." He sounded so adorable.

I smiled broadly. "Then I will purchase it right away."

He grinned.

As we made our way out of the fair, the sky was roaring with lightning shooting across the horizon. Time sure flies fast. The next day would be my last day with him. Happiness sure ends too quick. The thought of going back started to distract me. I wanted to stay in our little bubble for longer. I never imagined myself falling for a guy. My feelings were getting stronger with each moment I spent with him. I knew it wasn't a fling this time. I couldn't just imagine losing him.

The sun had set as we hit the road. I drove slowly, looking around for convenience stores. I spotted one and parked the car at the side of the road. As I turned to face him, his odd behavior was back. But this time, he looked a little nervous.

"Let's go." I said.

He nodded and got out without uttering a single word.

I couldn't help but wonder about what was bothering him so much. Why was his mood changing like clothes?

He walked around the small store with me following on his steps. I couldn't figure out what he was looking for. After ten minutes of just walking around, I decided to ask him.

"Hey, what are you looking for?" I asked. He was staring at the pasta shelf.

He turned to face me and stared right into my eyes. I was taken aback for a moment. Did I do something wrong?

"Looking for pasta?" I asked awkwardly.

He shook his head.

I raised my eyebrows. "Then?"

He looked around for a moment then stood on his tiptoes to whisper in my ear. "Condoms."

I felt like a thunderbolt had striked me and the ground slipped under my feet. I was too stunned to speak. He kept his eyes on the floor, his ears turning red.

"A-Are you sure?" I stammered, my heart racing like crazy.

He nodded, eyes still on floor.

I gulped down and ran my fingers through my hair nervously. I could feel myself heating up.

"I am shy to buy it." He said, looking up at me.

I broke into a smile at his nervous face. "It's fine, I will buy it."

I managed to grab a combo pack of five with free lube. I was nervous to take it to the cashier since it was my first time. I grabbed two packets of potato chips and two cans of coke too. I put the things down casually to the cashier. The boy didn't act anything as he packed it all up and handed it to me. I paid and left.

On our way back to the hotel, it started to drizzle lightly. I was nervous because he was quiet the whole journey back. I wondered what was going on in his head. I wanted to get inside his head and read his thoughts because I couldn't even guess anything.

I sighed loudly as I parked the car. I turned to face him. "I am not hungry so I guess I will skip dinner tonight. Order something you would like."

He turned and met my eyes. "O-Oh, I am not hungry either."

I beamed at him. "Okay."

I could feel the tension in the atmosphere between us as we walked back to our room. His nervousness was clear on his face. I surely needed to ask him what was wrong. Once we reached the room, he urged me to take a shower first. In the shower, I thought about several possibilities about his mood swings. Maybe it was because he was embarrassed of buying condoms. Or maybe he had some other personal reasons. Or maybe he was not comfortable with me. Or was he mad at me? My mind couldn't guess anymore.

He was waiting on the bed to use the bathroom after me. He ran in as soon as I came out. What was going on with him? I towel dried my hair and removed the curtains to watch the rain that had turned heavy. I turned the other lights off except the bedside lamp to have a dim appearance to the room. It felt good in that atmosphere with heavy rain. I comfortably sat on the bed with my feet up and waited for him to come out.

He was taking longer than usual so I fished out my phone and checked my texts. There were dozens of texts from friends and group chats. I didn't want to reply to any of them so I started to watch videos in youtube. It started to feel weird because he was in the bathroom for so long. And I was getting drowsy, waiting for him.

He finally came out, hair fully dried. I strengthened my pose and threw a smile towards him. He looked around the dim room and walked to me.

"What happened to the lights?"

"Ah, they were just stinging my eyes so I turned them off." I said.

He climbed on the bed and moved closer to me, trying to see my phone screen. "What are you watching?"

"Just random videos."

He nodded.

I was imagining about a steamy night but I guess he wasn't ready again. Well, I could wait.

"Kwan?"

"Hmm?" I put my phone away and turned my full attention to him.

I looked into his eyes, trying to read his feelings. He was staring at me intently. I smiled and reached to caress his cheeks lightly. He had soft skin. I ran my index finger on his temple and down the bridge of his nose. I brushed his lips lightly, fighting the urge to kiss him. I was afraid I would lose control and want more.

"Kwan." He spoke as in a flash, he sat up and climbed over me, sitting on my stomach with me between his legs. I was surprised. "I don't care what you think of me after this..." He began, placing both his hands over my chest.

I frowned.

"...but I really want you."

I gasped internally. It was so arousing.

"And I know you always thought I am innocent. I mean yeah, I am innocent about this stuff but I really want you. And I am ready for you." He spoke nervously.

I couldn't handle it. He was just so adorable. I broke into a smile and his expression seemed to relax. "First you gotta tell me something."

He frowned. "What?"

"Why were you so distracted the whole day?" I asked. I wanted to know what about me was bothering him so much.

"Oh." he said and started to blush profusely.

I smiled in amusement and also in relief. Maybe it wasn't something bad.

"I-I was...just imagining stuff with you and-and it got me nervous to even look you in the eye."

My eyebrows shot up at the confession. That's it! I was hard.

I sat up, resting my back on the bed head. He slid lower on my body and his eyes widened as he could feel my thing on his behind.

"Y-You..." He trailed off in shock.

"Yeah, who told you to seduce me?" I chuckled, grabbing him by the neck and crushing my lips against his. He kissed me back instantly as if he was waiting for it. I really wanted to take it slow but I was aroused intensely. My whole body was on fire and I wasn't sure if I could slow down any sooner. I kissed him passionately, slipping my hand under his shirt, caressing his warm and soft skin. He slipped his hand in my pants, grabbing my hot membrane. I gasped in shock against his lips.

Woah, wasn't he being too naughty already?

He trailed kisses on my neck and throat, biting and sucking on my skin. I bit on my lips, compressing my voice. As he reached to kiss me back on the lips, I couldn't resist anymore. I pulled him up and pushed him on the bed, climbing over him and taking his clothes off. As he lay naked underneath me, I stopped for a moment to admire his beauty. His cheeks were flushed and his lips were red. His chest rose and fell, breathing heavily. I was dazed for a moment.

I took my clothes off and went back to kiss him. I bit his earlobe and he let out a low moan. I didn't want to be sloppy as it was my first time. I had watched several videos on how to properly do it. And I was ready to show off my learned skills. I just needed to be careful and gentle.

"Kwan?" He called.

I leaned away to look at his face with concern. "What? Do you want to stop?"

He laughed. "No, silly. I was just curious about that bottle like thing with the condoms. It came free with it."

I blinked in surprise. "That's lube."

He frowned. "Lube? For what?"

I couldn't believe it. "Huh?"

His eyes widened as realization hit him. "I-I am so stupid. Oh god! Just put it in. I am so stupid." He covered his face with a hand.

I laughed. "I can't just put it in."

"Huh? Why?"

I leaned closer to whisper in his ear. "Because first, I need to loosen you up." I said, running my hand south. He gasped loudly as my finger hit his spot.
