Although the Yin Sha Sect is nominally subordinate to the True Demon Hall, in reality, the first-generation Sect Leader of Yin Sha Sect was expelled by the True Demon Hall.
It is said that the Yin Sha Sect was originally the Lingxu Lineage of the True Demon Hall.
Exactly what happened back then is now known to few, but what is certain is that the initial Yin Sha Demon Monarch established the Yin Sha Sect in the Land of the Far West after being expelled from the True Demon Hall and did so without receiving support from the True Demon Hall.
This resulted in the Yin Sha Sect facing joint oppression from Western Jin and Southern Qin at the beginning. It was only after later facing the pressure from Daqian and Lingyun Sacred Land that the two countries were forced to agree to jointly develop with the Yin Sha Sect and resist Daqian.
Thus, the Yin Sha Sect gradually grew stronger and after finding its footing, re-established contact with the True Demon Hall.
