Immortal Venerable Wu Ben remained timidly on the side, silently hoping in his heart: "May that calamitous star not notice me, may that calamitous star not notice me..."
But what was bound to come would always come, and Sir Sun turned his head again: "I heard you also have an Immortal Country you do not want anymore?"
If Master Helen was compelled into submission, what resistance could Venerable Wu Ben rely on?
Venerable Wu Ben dropped his head dejectedly: "Yes."
Sir Sun wasn't planning on really killing both Immortal Venerables. Firstly, after sealing a few Anti-realm Demons, Sir Sun's power had been consumed too much. Secondly, and more importantly, the Venerable Emperors would not allow an internal struggle that would lead to the death of Immortal Venerables and thus weaken the strength of the Immortal Race.
Don't talk about that "I can kill him if he wants to kill me" logic. For the Venerable Emperors, rationality is sidelined in favor of benefits.
