Chapter 22 - Discrimination Against the Academic Prodigy 

The ingredients for Pingqiao Tofu are quite particular, so there's no way to make the authentic version.

But although the family doesn't have ham, dried shrimp, or daylily, thankfully there's chicken broth and dried mushrooms, plus some shredded chicken, with a swirl of egg and some coriander for seasoning. With Lingsu's decent cooking, the result is an especially delicious dish.

Qixun said, "Let's make some more tomorrow morning and send a jar to Great-grandpa. And as for the leftover okara, fry some okara cakes with it in the morning, and the rest send to Auntie—don't they have a few pigs? There's nothing better than okara for pig feed."

Gongyu Mingxi said, "Our family can't possibly eat all that tofu and tofu sheets. Later, let's send some to a few other houses as well. Lingsu, you can stop by and check on your Great-grandpa's health while you're there."

After dinner, Qixun went to scrub the pot and wash the dishes, then boiled another pot of water for washing up later.
