My old friend was vanishing into thin air, and the zone he was in had to share his fate. The cafe we were in just a moment ago, the stylish waiter, the rebellious barista, and the fancy customers all disappeared right before my eyes.
They were so real that I couldn't come to my senses for a while; it was as if I was living my life before I died all over again, even if for a short time.
"Rimel, how are you holding up, are you under the effect?"
But the past was the past and I urgently needed to return to the present; without wasting time, I was going to ask the young lady of our party the most critical question that would affect our operation.
"I'll tell you in 3 seconds, get ready!"
Rimel, who was approaching the place where customers treated waiters like dogs, had started waiting for the immunity effect granted by her skill to wear off to answer the question.
"Very good, I'm not taking any effect anymore!"
