This was the opening announcement of the ritual at the entrances of malls, which we know for having all sorts of shops lined up in an orderly fashion and, most of all, their food courts on the top floor.
"Sir, you can't go inside with weapons, you need to leave them behind!"
The lights of the scanner Toraman passed through were flashing; in the moments when the warning sounds turned all eyes on us, the words of the security guard standing before us gave us a cold welcome.
"Excuse me!"
Our guy was dumbfounded; trying to enter a shopping mall with a tree branch as tall as himself, he was looking at the security guard's face in astonishment as if it were the most natural act in the world.
