It was easy to guess the underlying reason for this; being the greatest attack power of the party, Toraman's ego was badly bruised by the fact that he couldn't drop even half the number of guys I did.
Fortunately, these heroic actions of his would find a response on the security guards' front; three guys who had drawn their batons rapidly headed towards him.
For them, digesting what had happened was no easy task; while their chief divided the party just so they could kill us comfortably, in the blink of an eye, they were the only three left.
"That's how it's done, give me everything you've got!"
In a situation where Toraman was this hyped up, neither Rimel nor I were going to intervene; if we didn't let him shine now, it was impossible to expect him to take point in the future.
