While advancing step by step, our eyes were on the screen where the contestants' scores were displayed; the ranking changing after every finished struggle told us how high the bar was set.

"Each hit must be ten points; could this guy only hit it twenty times in two minutes?"

Sukrucuk wasn't leaving the math to anyone else again; even before the name of the girl who came out of the wire-fenced area lit up at the bottom center of the screen, we had already found out how she did.

"How many points would you score, bro?"

With a two-minute competition and a one-minute prep time each round, the line had barely moved ten people in half an hour, and it looked like we'd spend another half hour just waiting. Rather than standing idle, stirring up the already blooming rivalry felt more fun; after all, it was a game, it wasn't a matter of life and death.

"Man, my nephew, I don't even know what to say right now!"
