"Jennifer, what's going on? What the hell happened to you guys?"
I asked, unable to hide the anxiety in my voice.
The atmosphere was thick with tension. It obviously wasn't directed at us, but the stench of a crushing defeat hung heavily over the only party I could actually call friends.
"First off, thank your healer for patching up my friends. I never would have guessed the debuffs from the final dungeon would stick with us even after we respawned!"
I forgot to mention that part. It was a damn good thing we bumped into them in the town square when we did. They had respawned with only twenty percent health, and their HP was ticking down by one percent every second. They were all suffering from a Bleed effect. Thankfully, it was nothing Rimel's Purification couldn't scrub away, saving them from a miserable death loop.
"Don't mention it,"
I said, playing it cool with a smug expression, but Sukrucuk clearly didn't share my diplomatic approach.
