From the moment I heard that screech, it felt as if I had lost control of my own body and was trapped right back inside it. I want to scream "stop!" to the mobs swarming us from all four sides, but my voice won't come out; still, I can't hold myself back, I want to scream.

A few seconds later, I could hear my own voice, and involuntarily turning my head, I looked back at our crew. We had stopped moving and were frozen in place. The bright lights of Rimel's Purification skill were shining on two of our members, myself included.

After our healer's warning, I snapped back to reality and laid into the half-human, half-ant creatures attacking me with their drooling little mouths, but we can't stay like this either.
