When I saw the bill arrive at the speed of light, I was surprised at first. I looked at the paper one more time and turned to the waiter standing over me.
"Is there a mistake here?"
"No, sir, that is impossible!"
"The things I ate and drank cost twice this much!"
After my last words, a slight smile appeared on his stoic face, but he quickly composed himself before a single breath passed.
"Sir, I have applied your 50% discount right, which is valid for you across all establishments in the Seven-Tiered Abyss City!"
Now we're talking! The food was already priced like a cheap high school cafeteria, and now even that was slashed in half.
"Fantastic, how do we pay?"
