I would have loved to watch the sunrise, but I was out cold with my mouth wide open. What can I say? There was a gentle breeze in the air, and after having a heavy meal following the Arena fight, I just completely dozed off.
"Max, my boy, get up! You really overdid it this morning!"
Sukrucuk snatched the thin blanket right off me. I ignored him and rolled over to my right, but a second later, I was bolt upright. Thanks to Elenora, it was a rather chilling wake-up call.
"What are we waiting for? To the Guild Hall!"
I played it completely cool, acting as if I wasn't the one they had just forcefully dragged out of bed. Shortly after, we arrived at the place where we'd received all that bizarre intel the day before. My eyes searched for the woman from yesterday, but she didn't seem to be around.
