Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

Alice and Ada raised their guns almost at the same instant, muscle memory kicking in faster than conscious thought. The cold metal rested steadily in their palms, muzzles aimed straight at the figure that had appeared out of nowhere. The air in the room tightened, as if even the light itself had grown cautious.

Alice's eyes narrowed sharply. For a split second, her breathing stalled.

That face.

Too familiar.

Too real.

"Jack…," she said slowly, every syllable heavy. "Are you a replica, or the main body?"

Jack stood casually in the doorway, hands relaxed, posture loose, as though he had merely walked in on an old acquaintance rather than into the barrel of two guns. A crooked, amused smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

"Replica?" he repeated, raising an eyebrow. "Do I even have replicas? I just arrived here myself. I sensed movement, figured someone was nearby. Didn't expect to see you." He chuckled softly. "Fate really is interesting."

Before Alice or Ada could respond, a small figure darted forward.

"Father!"

Becky threw herself at Jack's leg, arms wrapping around him with unrestrained force. Her small body trembled slightly, as if she had been holding back fear for a long time.

"You're okay! You're really okay!"

Jack froze for half a beat.

"Father?" He looked down at the child clinging to him, genuine surprise flashing across his face before it was buried beneath amusement. "When did I suddenly get a daughter?"

Ada's finger tightened on the trigger. Alice's jaw clenched.

"It seems like the main body," Alice said coldly, her voice steady despite the storm beneath it.

"Didn't Father… you don't recognize Becky?" Becky looked up, confusion clouding her bright eyes.

Jack's gaze lingered on her face. Something flickered—calculation, recognition, understanding.

"Becky…" he murmured. "I see now."

His smile deepened, darker, sharper.

"So there really was a replica of me here." He crouched slightly and placed a hand on Becky's curly hair, fingers brushing gently. "Of course Father knows you. You're my clever little daughter."

The words were warm. The touch was gentle. But in Jack's eyes, a cold, predatory gleam flashed for an instant—brief, but unmistakable.

"Father," Becky said hesitantly, tilting her head, "you feel a little strange today."

Jack laughed softly. "Strange?"

Then his gaze shifted, sliding past the child, locking onto Alice.

"Didn't you think your mother also feels a little strange?"

Becky turned obediently. She studied Alice carefully, brows knitting together.

"Mom… you do feel different."

Alice felt something tighten painfully in her chest.

"Wife," Jack said calmly, stepping closer, "even the child noticed you've changed."

Anger flared instantly in Alice's eyes.

"Don't call me—"

"Mother, why are you angry?" Becky interrupted, confused. "Father calling you 'wife' is normal, isn't it?"

Alice's words stuck in her throat.

Jack sighed lightly, as if disappointed. "Children shouldn't be frightened by adult emotions. It leaves shadows behind."

Alice closed her eyes for a brief moment. When she opened them again, she inhaled deeply and forced her expression into something gentler.

"You're right," she said, voice controlled. "Becky, Mommy isn't angry."

Becky relaxed immediately. "That's good."

Jack smiled. "That's good, wife."

He moved closer to Alice, standing within arm's reach.

"Jack," Alice said quietly, her tone ice-cold.

His gaze drifted to the table nearby. A framed photograph rested there—a smiling family of three, frozen in a moment of warmth and normalcy that felt almost obscene in this place.

Jack picked it up.

"A happy family," he murmured. "Don't you think so, Alice?"

Alice stared at the photo. "…Yes."

"We could keep living like this," Jack said softly. "In the future."

Ada finally broke the silence. "Jack. How did you get here?"

Jack turned toward her. His eyes traced her figure without shame—face, posture, legs—then lingered a moment longer than necessary.

Alice noticed instantly and let out a sharp snort.

Ada frowned. "Mr. Jack, do you like what you see?"

"Very much," Jack replied smoothly. "Fair skin, great figure. Quite pleasing." He waved a hand casually. "Relax, just joking. As for your question—where love exists, I exist. Call me the angel of love."

A strange glint flickered in his eyes.

"Father, your smile looks really nice," Becky giggled, covering her mouth.

Ada shook her head. "I really don't see what makes you so terrifying that even Wesker valued you."

"Wesker isn't dead," Jack said lightly. "Undying Body. A few bullets won't stop him."

"Jack," Alice said, her gaze unwavering, "why are you here?"

He shrugged. "I was worried about your safety. White Queen guessed you might be here, so I came."

"Worried about me?" Alice scoffed, turning away. "That's a joke."

Yet her heart betrayed her, skipping once before she forced it still.

Ada studied them carefully. "Your relationship is… complicated."

"There's nothing complicated," Jack replied. "Just one thing you need to understand." His eyes sharpened. "She's my woman."

Alice didn't argue. She simply looked away.

"Father," Becky asked softly, "what are you and Mom talking about? I don't understand."

Jack crouched again. "Smart girl. You'll understand when you grow up."

Becky nodded seriously.

"Enough," a childish but impatient voice cut in. "Are you planning to keep playing family? People are already outside."

White Queen walked into the room, arms crossed.

Becky turned instantly, eyes bright. "Father, who is she?"

Jack answered without hesitation. "Her name is White Queen. She's Father's illegitimate daughter from outside. You're related by blood. Call her big sister."

"You perverted strange uncle!" White Queen snapped.

"Illegitimate daughter… big sister?" Becky blinked, then smiled widely. "Then she's really my big sister! Big Sister, hello!"

She ran forward and greeted White Queen cheerfully.

White Queen froze.

"…That…"

"Is it really that hard to say 'little sister'?" Jack teased.

White Queen rolled her eyes. "Little sister, hello."

"I have a big sister now!" Becky clapped happily, then turned to Alice. "Mom, Father has an illegitimate daughter. Aren't you angry?"

Alice's expression stiffened. "I'm… not angry."

"That's great!" Becky beamed. "We're a whole family now!"

"We should leave," Ada said firmly.

Jack nodded. "You're right. Someone familiar is outside. Same person, different look."

"That's impossible," Ada said. "I don't have a replica."

"I'm not covering anything," Jack replied calmly. "Her name is Su Yueming. Chinese. You're Chinese too. Maybe a long-lost twin."

Ada stared at him. "Impossible. I'm not a twin."

"She's alive," Jack said. "I'll let you meet her someday."

White Queen interrupted, "Jack. People are outside. Take the child first."

"Fine," Jack said. "Let's see who it is."

"It's your old friend," Alice said quietly, an edge of bitterness in her voice she didn't notice herself.

Jack smiled wider. "Then I already know."

The five of them stepped outside.

Umbrella Corporation soldiers stood scattered across the open area, weapons raised, expressions cold and disciplined.

At the front stood two figures.

Jill Valentine.

And Teri.

The real confrontation had finally begun.
