"After killing those people, they chased me down so badly, it was pitiful, simply a mess," he said.
"Nothing much to say, our mission didn't succeed, and we were chased too," the person in black clothes beside him patted his shoulder. At least his mission was a success, whereas theirs ended in failure.
"I bet the boss will put all the blame on us when he goes back," one of them said.
"Heh."
Upon hearing this, the men in black couldn't help but laugh.
Indeed, as long as things go wrong, it's always them, the subordinates, who are at fault, never the boss.
But even the daytime assassination before, wasn't that the boss's idea? Despite opposition suggesting a night attack, the boss shot it down.
"Anyway, we never get to see the master, so whatever the boss says, that's what it is," someone shrugged and said.
It's said working for the master brings endless benefits, yet to this day, they don't even know what the master looks like.
