If it was him sleeping on that bed, he probably wouldn't have reacted so quickly and could have ended up chopped into two or three pieces!
"Old Lin, are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" he asked with concern.
"No, I'm fine."
Old Lin grinned, responding with a sentence.
He reacted fast enough, but he couldn't withstand the attacker's higher cultivation level.
Although the fatal blow was blocked, he was still thrown down, and it hurt a lot. The assailant probably realized he attacked the wrong person in the end.
