Frankly speaking, if you asked Glache the Demigod whether he would eventually find three living people or three corpses, he would certainly answer the latter.
Without crossing the threshold of Demigod, one cannot achieve Conceptualization, leaving the fragile body still vulnerable to all sorts of injuries in this world. Hacking, burning, suffocation, toxins, and illness... any lurking danger could easily kill a Transcendent.
And the Abyss, is probably one of the most dangerous places in the world.
For Transcendents who are not Demigods, it's not just about keeping their lives here; even whether their corpses can be preserved for 24 hours is questionable. You must know that the darkness of the Abyss contains many man-eating creatures.
Of course, as long as Glache could arrive on time, even if he only found a piece of debris, the Demigods naturally could find a way to identify the actual identities of the bones.
