"Eleanor!"
When Nora saw Eleanor's head emerge from the water, she quickly swam over and embraced her best friend, letting out a sigh of relief.
"Eleanor!" Nora exclaimed. Eleanor's expression was subtly complex, but she quickly composed herself.
Nora, of course, noticed the fleeting oddity in her expression but considering her best friend had just been fished out of the deep sea by the Squad Leader, it was natural for her to be still shaken, so she quickly checked Eleanor for injuries.
"I'm sorry, Nora," Eleanor whispered internally.
Though sorry, there were some things she could not yield on.
Despite Nora's lack of suspicion, Peggy instinctively sensed that something was wrong. As soon as Aske surfaced, the girl from the Blood Clan hurriedly rushed over to him.
"Hehehe, it smells like guilt," she circled Aske, probing.
"It's the smell of the sea!" Aske responded.
"Is it?" Peggy was skeptical and leaned closer to inspect him.
