At the moment of seeing the Mind Line, Sin Fire knew things had gotten troublesome.
Firstly, no Sequence could possibly form such a Mind Line, at the very least, it would be a Transcendent above the Law Level.
Secondly, considering the previous instant assassin and the two constantly cloning Demigods, if this one was also a Demigod... that would make it three.
Being besieged by three Demigods simultaneously was an inescapable death trap. Of course, the three hadn't formed a real siege yet; for instance, the constantly cloning Demigod hadn't focused his attacks on him.
In other words, if there were indeed three Demigods on the opposite side... then this might be the last chance to escape.
Thus, the question became "should I risk falling here to continue the defense?"
The answer was obvious.
