Chapter 91 - Chapter 89# Into The Spider-Verse #7

(3rd Person: POV)

Gathered near the top of a sky rise under construction Pete, and the other Spiders, stood on it.

All of them observing Fisk Tower, the headquarters of Wilson Fisk, in front of them.

"Okay, everyone remember the plan?" Pete asked.

"Yep!"

"Yessir!"

"Yes."

These and other comments came out of the mouths of his fellow spiders.

Upon hearing them Pete nodded.

"Alright then, let's go." He said.

Once he did all of the spiders started heading for Fisk Tower.

As Pete and the others started their plan to deal with Wilson Fisk and his super-collider, back at the secret base of the Peter of this world May wore a confused look on her face as she entered it.

Since all of the spiders were gone.

But to May that didn't make any sense.

For although she had finished repairing the flash drive to stop the super-collider they hadn't gone over a final plan to make it happen.

"Or did they make one and leave me out of it?" May asked herself.

Just as she spotted a letter addressed to her sitting stop the main terminal of the main computer.

Waking over to it May immediately opened the letter and then began reading it.

"Dear Aunt May, by the time you read this all of us spiders will be long gone. Most of us will likely already be back in our own home realities. Now as you've probably already guessed, given you're a smart woman, we spiders formulated a plan amongst ourselves to deal with Fisk and his super-collider and left you out of it entirely. Why you ask? Because you just had to say goodbye to the nephew you loved and none of us wanted to make this situation anymore painful for you than it had to be. Especially considering all you've done already to help us. So with that from all of us goodbye Aunt May, and thanks for all you did.

Oh and one last thing, if it's not too much trouble can we ask you to look after Miles. Since after we're all gone that kid will need someone to lean on, and guide him. And if you're nephew is any indication then you're just the right lady for the job.

Sincerely, Pete and the other spiders."

Placing a hand over her mouth, May tried and failed to stop the tears that were starting to come out of her eyes as she finished reading the letter.

Yet she couldn't.

Despite this she wore a bright smile on her face.

While May shed tears over the goodbye letter back at Fisk Tower, Wilson Fisk was walking the halls.

A pin in his left hand he kept clicking it over and over again.

His top subordinates Scorpion, Doctor Octopus, Tombstone, and Prowler walking beside him.

"Octavious, how much longer in the collider?" Fisk asked.

"It's actually all ready to go." Olivia replied. "We can even turn it on right now."

"No, we wait until tomorrow night." Fisk told her.

Since it was then he was hosting Spider-Man's memorial service dinner.

Which just thinking about brought a smile to Wilson's face.

For on the night he was going to be honoring Spider-Man he would also be getting his family back.

A poetic justice in Fisk's mind.

Though he did have concerns.

"Tombstone, Prowler, any new leads on those other spiders?" Fisk asked. Hissing out the words between his death as he did.

Since after finally getting rid of Spider-Man after all these years three new ones just show up out of nowhere.

A development Fisk hated to his very core.

"Nothing yet boss, but have no fear we've got everyone looking for them." Tombstone spoke.

"Yes. And the second they appear, we'll take them out." Prowler added. Extending his claws as he did. "Just like the other one." He said.

"You didn't take out anyone Prowler, I did." Fisk spoke. "Remember that." He informed him.

*Boom!*

Then just after Fisk did he and his subordinates stopped in their tracks as they heard an explosion go off below them.

Immediately after this occurred Fisk took a portable radio out of his pocket and turned it on. "What was that?! Report!" He demanded.

"Sir, it's spiders. So many of the-"

Fisk subordinate began to explain.

Only for his reply to br cut short from his end.

As this occured Fisk squeezed the radio into hand until he crushed it.

Once he did Fisk dropped the radios remains on the ground and then turned to his subordinates.

"Get moving and kill those spiders. Before I make sure you join them in the afterlife." Fisk spoke and threatened.

Then right after he did the doors in front of him burst open and a security guard sailed through the air until he landed at Fisk feet, entirely unconscious.

As he did Pete, Gwendolyn, and Miles walked through the now open doors.

"I have risen baby girl!" Pete dramatically spoke, throwing his arms out to his sides.

Only in response to this Tombstone drew his twin pistols, Olivia readied her Octo-arms, Prowler readied his claws, Scorpion readied his tail, and Fisk readed his fists.

"Damn, toufh crowd." Pete mused.

"Um, Pete, is this really the time for jokes?" Miles asked.

"Remember this Miles, when it comes to waking into dangerous situations as Spider-Man, there is always time for jokes." Pete explained. "Since a big part of what makes Spider-Man what they are is the quipping."

"Kill them." Fisk sharply spoke. "Kill them all!" He shouted a second later.

As soon as he did Pete sighed as he returned his full attention to Fisk and his allies.

"Hey, I'm trying to teach here. So maybe be a bit considerate and don't talk until I'm do-" Peter was saying.

Only to lazily move his body a little to the left as Tombstone shot several bullets at him.

Yet none of them hit their mark.

Gwendolyn and Miles also dodging them.

"Okay. I see I'll need to teach you rude people some manners." Pete spoke. He then cracked his neck from side-to-side. "Let's begin the lesson."

"The only lesson I'll be learning is how to make sure you stay d-" Tombstone began to speak.

But before he could finish Pete rushed forward and within second closed the distance between the two of them, shocking everyone, save Gwendolyn, in the room.

But caring about this not Pete continued onward.

Grabbing the barrels of each of Tombstone's pistols with one of his hands Pete squeezed without hesitation, crushing them without any issue.

Then as he did Pete performed a backflip kick and nailed Tombstone directly in his chin, his attack sending the man flying face first into the ceiling. His guns being ripped into pieces, for the crushed barrels Pete was holding onto never left his hands.

That is until he dropped them in the ground.

Just as he did Tombstone fell too the ground, utterly unconscious.

Once this occured Pete easily webbed his body too the guard.

Then after he did he slowly turned around and faced Fisk and the rest of his enemies in the room.

"Okay kiddies, who wants to be taught next?" Pete asked.

His words scaring Fisk remaining subordinates.

All the while Miles and Gwen simply watched on.

The former utterly surprised. "Did Pete really just do that?" Miles asked.

"He did." Gwendolyn spoke. "Since he is the Superior Spider-Man after all." She said.

Miles absolutely agreeing with her words in every way.

As he did Peter zeroed in on his next target, Scorpion.

Then once he did he pounced like a fat person going after their favorite snack cake at the supermarket.
