[July 1st, 2011]

The hot summer sun beating down on me, off-set by the cool breeze that was blowing, I picked up speed on my skateboard.

Until eventually I reached a set of stairs and descended them by skidding down the middle of the railing in-between them.

I then continued on my way until I reached the old tunnel entrance the others and I used to access the Web.

Finding everyone there waiting for me.

Felicia having her arms crossed over her chest, and a slightly irritated expression on her face.

While Liz just had a curious look on her own.

Though that doesn't surprise since today is the day she's finally going to see the new and improved Web.

Along with Felicia.

Since during the past two weeks it's been off limits for improvement and renovations they are the only two who haven't seen its new look.

But it's there own fault for deciding not to help us DIY the hideout.

So I don't feel even an ounce of guilt from the glare Felicia is beginning to level at me right now.

"You're late, Parker." She told me.

Right as I flipped over my board using my foot and grabbed one end of it.

"Retract your claws kitty, I'm here now." I replied.

Leading to Felicia to flip me the bird.

But only for a second before she dropped it.

"There, feel better now? Got it all out of your system?" I asked.

"God Parker, sometimes you're just-"

"-Amazing, spectacular, astonishing, superior." I spoke up, interrupting Felicia. A smug smile on my face. "Thank you, I know. But you don't have to remind me every time we meet up. I'm not some sort of narcissist you know."

Releasing a sigh at my words Felicia shook her head before looking to Gwen. "Stacy, how do you put up with him?"

"I don't know. Just one of my many talents I suppose." Gwen replied.

"Haha." I dryly laughed. "Anyway enough talk. Felicia, Liz, it's time for your grand tour of the new and improved Web." I spoke.

I then walked forward, everyone following behind me after I did.

Then once inside of the tunnel we all kept walking, until we came to a stop due to a brick wall.

"What, this wasn't here before." Felicia replied.

"Yeah, because we installed it." Harry spoke up.

"Why?" Liz asked.

"To hide what we created." Gwen replied.

"Then how are we supposed to get in?" Felicia asked.

"Like this." I replied. "Spinner." I spoke.

A second after I did a beam of green light fired out from a point in the brick wall and then passed over all of us within a matter of seconds.

A moment after this occured a section of the wall slid away, revealing the hidden entrance behind it.

Once this occured I walked ahead, everyone following me.

Then once we were all thorough the hidden entrance closed behind us.

Leaving us in a stainless man-made tunnel.

As soon we were I turned to face Felicia and Liz. I then spread my arms out to my side in a dramatic fashion. "Hardy, Liz, I give you the new and improved Web." I said in a dramatic tone. "Come on, well give you the tours." I spoke. Before beginning to easily and effortlessly walk backwards.

Felicia and Liz, along with the others, following me, with the former two looking around everywhere as we did.

Even as we reached the end of the tunnel and stepped into a bigger area.

"First up we have the main area, or hub as I like to call it." I began.

"From here we can monitor the rest of the Web, and the outside world, as well as relax and hold planning sessions." I spoke.

"Woah." Liz mused.

"Yeah, what Allen said." Felicia muttered. "This place is incredible."

"Oh, you ain't seen nothing yet." I spoke.

Before leading our group to the next destination.

A room filled with sophisticated medical and lab equipment.

Where once we entered Gwen got a look on her face like she was about to orgasism.

Though I hope not.

Since I'm the only one around here whose allowed to make that happen.

Well, not that it's happened yet. But it will.

"Gwen, since you look so giddy, if you would please explain this room." I spoke.

"Of course." Gwen replied. "Felicia, Liz, welcome to our state of the medical bay/laboratory, which can use to treat the injuries we receive in the field, as well as cook up anything science-related we might need in the future." She eagerly explained.

Then after Gwen was finished we moved on and showed Felicia and Liz the rest of the new Web, which now included a kitchen, some sleeping rooms, a vehicle bay, though one currently empty, a server room, a new storage room for all our suits, not just mine, and a few other things, until we arrived at the last stop on our tour.

An entirely empty room with tons of exercise equipment.

"And this ladies is our training room. Which has been reinforced to handle any and all parahuman mishaps." I explained.

"Yes, it certainly has." Spinner added.

His voice coming through one of the various intercoms we had set up through the base.

Which he is connected to, given his mainframe is now housed in the server room of the Web.

"And with that our tour comes to an end." I spoke. "So, what do you girls think?"

"Incredible." Liz mused.

"It totally is." Felicia agreed. "But I am curious, how did you guys accomplish all of this in just two weeks?"

"Well it wasn't too difficult, but not simple either." Harry began.

"Yeah." Ned agreed. "But after Peter and Gwen gave Harry his powers, and helped him get used to them, we went all in." Ned revealed.

Since the same day the others and I began working on renovating the Web, when Harry and Liz decided they wanted to join the hero game, I talked to Harry and convinced him to get the SS serum in his system. Since he needed it for what was ahead. Not to mention I wanted him to get used to his new capabilities as fast as possible.

Seeing my reasoning Harry took himself a dose of the serum, and joined the parahuman club like most of the rest of us.

Save for Ned who I am going to introduce to the magic route.

But with all that's been going on Gwen and I haven't had a true chance to contact the Ancient One and inform her we've chosen to accept her offer to train us in the Mystic Arts.

And now on top of getting Harry and Liz into the hero game, not to mention the 4th of July right around the corner, and then my own birthday in a short while, our appointment book is looking full.

Well we'll get to it when we get to it.

"Really, and how long did that take?" Felicia asked.

"Eh, just two days." I replied. "Given Gwen and I combined experience with superhuman powers." I explained. "Though while we were doing this I did order much of the materials and equipment we needed to renovate this place."

"And that leads me to my biggest question. How did you actually do this?" Felicia asked. Spreading her arms out to encompass everything around. "How did you pay for all of this?"

"Yeah, I'm curious as well." Liz added.

"I mean I'd think the answer would be obvious. I had Spinner identifity criminal organizations across the globe, then had him create several fake accounts, and then siphon funds from these said criminal groups and then wire them to make payments for the various materials we needed to construct the new Web. All of which he then had shipped to various locations around New York, which I and the others retrieved. We then meticulously and carefully brought it back here, where we then used all of that stuff to revamp this place. No one the wiser." I explained.

Leading Felicia to snort. "Oh, is that all?" She sarcastically asked.

"No. During the past two weeks Harry constructed his suit, and we also made one for Liz." I revealed.

"What, but they weren't in the suit storage room we went to earlier." Liz spoke.

"That's because I wanted it to be a suprise for you." Harry revealed.

He then went over to one of the larger storage lockers in the training room and opened it up.

Revealing not only his own super suit, but Liz's as well.

"So, what did you think Lizzie?" Harry asked Liz, using her nickname.

"Thejr great. Mine is great." Liz replied, walking up to Harry. "Thank you." She said.

Then forgetting the rest of us were in the room she began kissing Harry, leading him to forget the rest of us were there as well.

Seeing this, and since we didn't want to ruin their moment, the others and I left the training room.

Giving the lovely couple a few moments to finish their business.

It's common courtesy after all.
