Many years ago, Duke Shaq took a big fall while engaging in some shady smuggling activities. At the time, it was Bruce who stepped forward to resolve Duke Shaq's troubles. To repay Bruce's great favor, Duke Shaq granted Bruce a wish.
This time, Bruce's wish was for the Sunflower Painting.
Duke Shaq agreed to give Bruce the Sunflower Painting, but with one condition: he would only take care of entering, not exiting.
In other words, he would ensure that Bruce got into the treasure chamber to obtain the Sunflower Painting, but he would not concern himself with how Bruce would get out.
Bruce sent Ula Oda there. If Ula Oda could get out, all the better; but if Ula Oda couldn't, he had instructed her: destroy it before you die!
