Ned Mamet gently smiled as he burned the letter in his hand.

The letter Andre saw was actually Ned Mamet's creation...

There was a knock on the door.

Ned flushed the ashes down the toilet before going to open the door. Standing in front of him was a girl he recognized from Joy Bennett's group of flappers, he thought her name was 'Fish'.

Upon seeing Ned, the little girl named Fish gave a deep bow.

Ned looked at her amusedly and asked, "What's this about?"

"Thank you for saving Joy."

Joy Bennett herself wasn't particularly remarkable, but she had a group of loyal friends. Ned said, "No need to thank me. It was just a small favor."

Fish bowed deeply again and said, "Joy asked me to thank you, to bow to you on her behalf, and to say thank you on her behalf."

"Joy Bennett is alright, I assume?" Ned asked.

"She's getting married."

Ned was taken aback.

"Joy is turning eighteen tomorrow, reaching the age of marriage, so she's getting married."
