He was always the kind to prioritize caution, so he slowly craned his neck to look into the cabin beneath the deck.
"Hmm?" After just a glance, he was surprised, because the glowing object in the cabin was a stone, and atop that stone sat a human skeleton.
That person must have died countless years ago, as their clothes and shoes had turned to ashes, yet the skeleton appeared translucent under the glow of the stone.
After Yusuf Zuck observed for a few moments and found no danger, he carefully jumped down from the deck.
He didn't immediately touch the stone; though he knew it must be a treasure, fearing unexpected events, he decided to figure it out before taking it. Otherwise, if the skeleton came to life, he'd be in a lot of trouble.
