Ling Feng and Song Ruozhao looked up almost simultaneously as a pillar of red flame shot down from the rocks atop the volcano, falling towards them.
But both of them reacted quickly, retreating swiftly, while Song Ruozhao also instantly released a Sword Qi that shattered the lava pillar.
The lava pillar turned into sparse liquid droplets, which dripped onto the ground, the intense heat melting most of the stones.
A red figure dashed across the rocks above, as Ling Feng's Blade of the Apocalypse suddenly flew out, leaving a streak of shadows in the air before finally piercing into the mountainside.
"Whoa! What is this?" The red figure suddenly halted, staring at the blade before them—had they stepped forward just a bit, their head would surely have been severed by the Blade of the Apocalypse!
The mischievous sprite, scared by the thought of its head being severed, accidentally fell off the mountainside.
