Chapter 51 - Overcoming A Culture Barrier

"Hey, hey. If you want us to eat wolf meat, you don't have to do it this way," Misho complained.

He refused to believe he heard him correctly. One Earth Coin could fetch him a single meal. Even inflation couldn't be this bad. [AN: It can, but you get it.]

"Aren't you a foodie too? Don't tell me you lied?" TonkotsuRamen asked and stared at him like someone who just got betrayed.

"I…"

Misho got himself in a difficult situation. He wanted to tell the truth, but this guy just seemed really genuine about what he talked about. He deserved credit for having such passion for his hobby.

"Why don't we try it then?" Maia suggested.

"Wait, why?"

Misho was surprised by her words.

"It's just a game. They are forest wolves too. We don't need to think too much about it," Maia explained.

She wanted to help out Misho. She knew the difficult position he was in. Sometimes, you just don't want someone who looked honest to feel sad. It was a natural human response.
