She drove herself closer, pressing her face against his chest.
"No. W-what are you doing?" Misho pushed her away.
He naturally welcomed it if a girl threw herself at him, but he wasn't naive. This was in Aphrodos. His biggest fear was the current PK serverwide quest and the plans of the FAS Clan. He was unwilling to let his guard down and be potentially killed.
"Can I tell you a story?" Fen Xiaoxiao covered her eyes with her closed fan.
"Shoot."
Since she didn't try to get closer again, Misho decided to listen.
"In a place surrounded by snow most of the year, a fledgling lived in a nest made of woven silk. Her parents flapped their wings behind her, urging her to spread her wings and fly. She peered down from the tree, viewing the dizzying fall that awaited her.
"She was afraid of the drop," she continued.
