"Mm." Maia nodded. "The two of them danced earlier and returned to the table to rest, I think."
SophiaCat held the Crown Prince's hand. He pulled her along, taking her to the center of the ballroom. The couples dancing immediately made way for them.
She kept her head lowered, having already lost all hope.
At this rate, she was certain she would be dragged into the life of the Crown Prince. However, there was nothing she could do. She didn't dare defy him, knowing he was destined to become king.
"Come. Lift your chin up, Sophia," the Crown Prince whispered, gently raising her gaze up to his eyes.
"I'm not a virgin," SophiaCat uttered, expecting the Crown Prince to despise her.
"Wouldn't it be weirder if you were?"
His eyes never wavered, full of princely confidence. She had no hope of escaping his hungry gaze. Once he had set his eyes on her, it was impossible to change his mind.
