A middle-aged man sat on a boulder at the center, sucking smoke out of an extremely thin pipe. He took it out and blew a dark cloud into the air.
Slow and heavy footsteps came from one of the four halls leading to the courtyard.

The Crown Prince knelt on one knee, lowering his head.
"Romano? Aren't you accompanying your sister for her birthday?" he asked, calmly setting his gaze down onto him.

"You're a Crown Prince. It won't be long before you inherit what's mine. This must be a serious issue if you can't handle it."
"It is serious, Royal Father. It involves the Sacred Guardian."
