Chapter 326 - Chapter 325 The Locked Bathroom Murder Case part 6

Leaving the living room, Conan walked towards the bathroom. His current task was to find evidence.

As he was walking toward the bathroom, Conan spotted Masayo Aoshima and Mina Aoshima standing outside the kitchen. Masayo Aoshima smiled and waved at Mina, then walked toward the bathroom, while Mina went into the kitchen.

"Oh, no wonder I've been feeling something's wrong. It's right here!"

The headscarf on Masayo Aoshima's forehead was removed by Mina, and Conan only then realized what was wrong. It was the headscarf on Masayo Aoshima's forehead that was amiss. The two O's in Okino Yoko's English name have a stroke above the first O to indicate the accent, but Masayo Aoshima's headscarf didn't have one. This could only mean something had gotten on it. On the way, Masayo Aoshima had said the headscarf had been delivered with the CDs yesterday, so it couldn't be dirt. It could only be blood that had turned black that was the only possibility.

"Now we have the evidence. All we need is the locked room method,"

Conan pondered, resting his chin on his hand as he walked toward the bathroom. He didn't take the headscarf because there was no need. No one had noticed anything wrong with it.

When Conan came out of the bathroom, he saw Aizen standing not far from the door and chatting with Ran Mouri. Conan felt unhappy when he thought that he was busy investigating the case while he was standing leisurely aside. After thinking for a moment, Conan walked over and called Aizen aside.

Aizen took the initiative to ask, "What's the matter?"

Conan asked, "Do you know who the criminal is?"

"I guessed, but I have no evidence."

Aizen thought for a moment and decided to give Conan some hints, regardless of whether Conan had thought of these hints or not.

Conan asked, "Who do you think the criminal is? Why do you think she is the criminal?"

"Ms. Masayo Aoshima, I think she is the criminal."

Aizen whispered, "When the door was forced open, Miss Masayo Aoshima was on the far left, which is where the door handle was, so she could easily turn the door handle. The so called secret room is just an idea she gave us in advance. What if all this was planned by her?"

"I see!"

Conan suddenly realized that this was the method used in the secret room. This method was not difficult and it was easy to solve. It was just that his preconceived idea prevented him from thinking of this.

Seeing Conan's expression, Aizen said, "What, you have evidence?"

Conan nodded and said, "Yes, but I need your help."

"No problem,"

Aizen agreed. The moment he saw Masayo Aoshima, he noticed something was wrong with the headscarf on Masayo Aoshima's forehead. He wanted the case to be solved, so he kept it to himself. Otherwise, he would have casually let it slip, allowing Masayo Aoshima to prepare.

Before Conan could act, Takagi Wataru ran back and told Mina Aoshima what she said was true. At this moment, Mina Aoshima also came over.

Conan immediately used an anesthetic needle to anesthetize Mouri Kogoro and then stood behind Aizen, hiding himself.

Without any hesitation, Conan pointed out in the voice of Mouri Kogoro that Masayo Aoshima was the criminal, and then told Masayo Aoshima's method.

After hearing this, Masayo Aoshima said, "Mr. Mouri, your reasoning may be correct, but what about this secret room?"

"Secret room? Is this really a secret room?"

Conan said, "This is not a secret room at all. After you killed Mr. Kenji, you opened the door and walked out openly, then closed the door. When we came, we saw you knocking on the door anxiously, so we subconsciously thought it was a secret room, but when we broke the door open, you were on the doorknob, so you could easily turn the doorknob and create a secret room without us noticing. Of course, this method requires a witness, so you asked us to send you back to become the discoverer of the so-called secret room."

Masayo Aoshima was shocked when she heard this. She didn't expect Mouri Kogoro to guess this, but she laughed again and sneered, "Mr. Mouri, even if your reasoning is true, it can't be used as evidence at all. If you don't have any evidence, I think the concert is about to start, and I have to take my leave first."

"Of course I have evidence,"

Conan said. "Ms. Masayo, I think you may not have noticed before. The headscarf you wore on your forehead had a stroke above the first O of Miss Yoko's English name, but your headscarf doesn't have that. You said that the headscarf was delivered with the CD yesterday. May I ask why it is stained with Mr. Kenji's blood?"

"How...how could it be?"

Masayo Aoshima couldn't help but step back when she heard this. Although she didn't notice the problem with the headscarf, she would definitely find it if she took the headscarf back and compared it. She also believed that Mouri Kogoro would not tell such a lie that would be easily exposed, so the stroke must be missing. She had calculated everything and was extremely careful, but she didn't expect that there would be a problem here.

Megure heard this and asked, "Ms. Masayo Aoshima, where is the headscarf you were wearing on your forehead?"

Conan said, "It's with Miss Mina. I think Miss Mina must have discovered the problem and took Miss Masayo headscarf away, right?"

"Mina?!"

Masayo Aoshima looked at Mina Aoshima, her heart filled with resentment. Then she suddenly smiled. What right did she have to resent her? Her original intention was to kill her. Although she didn't kill her later, she still wanted to frame her. What right did she have to resent her? Everything is retribution!

Megure immediately said to Mina Aoshima, "Ms. Mina, please hand over the headscarf to us police."

Mina Aoshima walked over to Masayo Aoshima, holding Masayo Aoshima's arms with both hands, looking at Masayo Aoshima and saying, "I... I burned the headscarf."

"What?!"

Everyone looked at Mina Aoshima in shock. Even Aizen looked at Mina Aoshima in surprise. This didn't fit the script he had arranged. Shouldn't Mina Aoshima resent Masayo Aoshima? If Mina Aoshima didn't resent Masayo Aoshima, how would he have implemented his plan to turn Mina Aoshima into a dark person?

Conan's eyes widened in shock. He could never have imagined that this was possible. Mina Aoshima would actually burn the only evidence.
