Chapter 335 - Chapter 334 A Mysterious Sniper Murder Case part 4

The next morning, during dinner, Ran informed Aizen that the man suspected last night was named Shiro Hiraoka, and that he had been found dead this morning.

Conan was also there during dinner. He had not known about this before, and upon hearing this, he hurriedly asked, "Sister Ran, was he murdered?"

Ran shook her head and said, "It must have been an accident. Dad said he fell down the stairs. It is said that he didn't step on the stairs properly in the building where he was hiding, and he hit his head and died after falling down the stairs."

"No, this is not an accident. If the hypothesis I came up with last night is true, then this is a murder case. Hiraoka was killed because he knew the secret, and it was disguised as an accident."

Conan pondered in his heart. He didn't believe in accidents at all. He didn't think it would be so coincidental that Shiro Hiraoka would fall to his death just because he didn't step on the stairs. He was not a child who knew nothing.

Aizen said, "Ran, besides these, did Master Mouri say anything else?"

Ran Mouri said, "Dad said that he has to protect President Seiji Ishimoto until the case is solved, so he can't come back for the time being. He asked you to stay in the office, Aizen, and remember to help take on any commissions."

"Okay, that's what I should do."

Aizen nodded, not refusing.

Conan heard this and said, "Sister Ran, since uncle will be staying with President Ishimoto for a few days, shouldn't we send him some clothes to change?"

Ran Mouri nodded and said, "Of course, we should. I'll send some clothes to Dad in the evening."Conan immediately said, "Sister Ran, let me send them over, in case Uncle needs to change clothes in the afternoon."

"But..."

Ran Mouri had something to do during the day and couldn't go to deliver the clothes, but she was worried about letting Conan go alone. She was about to refuse, but then she remembered that Aizen was also there, so she turned and looked at Aizen.

"Aizen, why don't you go with Conan later?"

Aizen nodded and said, "Okay, I'll go with Conan after dinner."

"Thank you, Aizen."

Ran smiled slightly and thanked him out loud.

After dinner, Ran packed a few sets of clothes for Mouri Kogoro. Aizen and Conan left together, and Aizen drove to Seiji Ishimoto's company.

On the way, Conan, who was sitting in the passenger seat, said, "Aizen, have you found any problems with this case?"

Aizen glanced at him and continued driving, "So far, I haven't found anything, but I think President Seiji Ishimoto is not the target of the criminal in this incident. Masao Takada is the real target of the criminal. As for the so-called threat to Seiji Ishimoto, I'm afraid it's just a means of diverting the police's attention."

Conan nodded in agreement and said, "What you said is the same as what I thought. The criminal's target has always been Masao Takada, and I have guessed what method the criminal used. As for the murderer, I haven't determined it yet."

Aizen said, "Then you have to work hard."

Conan turned and looked at him and said, "Aizen, don't you want to solve this case?"

Aizen smiled and said, "With a kid like you here, there is no need for me to take action at all. It's not too late for me to take action when you can't solve the case."

"Then you'll never get a chance to act,"

Conan said, rolling his eyes. Aizen said this as if his deductive abilities were superior to his. He didn't think he was inferior to Aizen, nor did he believe he couldn't solve the case. Therefore, if Aizen's words really happened, then Aizen would never get a chance to act. He would definitely solve every case.

"I hope so,"

Aizen said with a smile.

Conan said: "Aizen, after I go to President Ishimoto's company, I want to go to the scene of Shiro Hiraoka's death. Can you take me there?""Okay, no problem."

Aizen nodded in agreement. After all, even if he didn't agree, Conan could go there by himself, but it would be more convenient if he took him there.

The car stopped outside Seiji Ishimoto's company. Aizen didn't get out of the car. He asked Conan to get in by himself. Conan didn't refuse and got out of the car with his luggage.

When Conan walked into the company, he found Megure and Mouri Kogoro. It happened that these two people also came at this time.

"Huh?"

Carefully avoiding Megure and Mouri Kogoro, Conan suddenly found Shinkura Tsuneaki walking out of the elevator and heading outside. Shinkura Tsuneaki was also one of the people Conan suspected of being the murderer. Conan couldn't help but worry about this person appearing here, but now he wanted to go up and listen to what Seiji Ishimoto would say to Megure and Mouri Kogoro, so he didn't follow him out.

Although Conan spotted Mouri Kogoro, he didn't call out for help. He knew that if he did, Mouri Kogoro would surely grab his clothes and chase him away, thus making his entire trip a wasted one.

Aizen parked his car outside. He waited for over ten minutes, but Conan didn't emerge. Instead, he saw Megure, Mouri Kogoro, Seiji Ishimoto, and Yukiko Tanaka.

After waiting for another seven or eight minutes, Aizen finally saw Conan emerge and run to the car.

After getting in, Conan said, "Aizen, let's go to the crime scene."

Aizen started the car and asked, "Have you found anything?"

Conan smiled and said, "Yes, and it's a big find."

"Good luck then,"

Aizen shrugged, not asking any more questions, and focused on driving.

Conan said nothing more, but rested his chin in his hand, thinking.

Arriving at the abandoned building where Shiro Hiraoka died, Aizen ultimately had to distract the officers because it was guarded by police, while Conan secretly entered the building.

Twenty minutes later, Conan emerged from the abandoned building and got into his car. Aizen didn't ask him what he had discovered, but he knew from the smile on Conan's face that he must have made a discovery.

Conan did, but he didn't tell Shinichi what it was. He simply asked for his help, assuming the identity of the sleeping Kogoro Mouri.

Aizen didn't refuse, eager to see Conan's bewildered expression after his deduction failed; that would be amusing.
