From the outside it looks like a slumped skeleton clacking it's jaw up and down and the more it does the more eerie it seems.

Currently I'm walking through barren streets and everything I see looks like it hasn't been touched in years.
I kept peeking through broken windows and dead alleyways looking if theres any person who can tell me what happened but there is nobody.
I notice at the corner of my eye? that theres a pipe laying on the ground and I pick it up because who knows what happened to make my hometown look like this.

I look to my left and theres a big ass rat that is the size of a pig running towards me.
I quickly dodge and I fall to the ground since I'm not used to being a skeleton.
The rat is right next to my leg and biting on it but I feel no pain, but its my fucking leg give it back!
I lift the heavy pipe and while its chewing my leg trying to break it off I slam the pipe down with all the force my boney hand can offer.

The boxes which I recognize quickly faded away once I thought of them to go back where they came from.
I got up and I hide back in the alleyway to go over what happened.
'Why am I a skeleton? Who turned me into a skeleton?'
I don't mind the fact I'm a skeleton, its just that I'm scared what other people will do once they see a lanky skeleton strolling through the street alone.
Yet, the only person who wouldn't care what I looked like is my girlfriend which I left her after I....died??

Earlier that day I proposed to my long-time girlfriend Emily.
She quickly said yes.
Ever since High School, I had been alone with nobody to talk to, yet one day in sophomore year a new girl came to my math class and she asked me about the homework that night and I nearly broke down because people don't talk to me that much but I said as fast as I can.

I ran out of the class and she ran after me thinking she did something wrong. She caught up to me and I explained to her what was wrong. I didn't know what happened but after that we started to date and this is where we ended up.
Now we are going to get married soon and I was thinking about our plans.
After we talked we walked along the sidewalk to go to my car to drive us home.
Going across the street she was in front of me and I saw at the corner of my eye a truck speeding past and was about to run her over.
I pushed her out of the way while I got brutally mangled looking like an action figure that was played with.
But before I blacked out I saw her face one last time in tears.
