Rebecca Quentin smiled faintly, "I'm not a child. As long as I'm not cold or hungry, there's nothing I can't adapt to."
Christine Quinn held Rebecca Quentin's hand, "Don't play dumb with me, you know what I'm asking."
Rebecca Quentin looked at Christine Quinn seriously, "Sis, I never intended to be with him, so there's no sense of loss, let alone any difficulty in adapting."
"When you told me over the phone that you were in T City, I knew something went wrong between you and Howard Geoffrey... Becca, tell me, what exactly happened that made you separate so decisively from Howard Geoffrey?"
A bitter feeling spread in Rebecca Quentin's chest, she took a deep breath and then informed Christine Quinn of the truth she discovered about her father's death.
