"Don't you have a date?" Christine Quinn casually said.
Christine Quinn's words made Skyler Jones, who was fiddling with his cuff, raise an eyebrow. He lifted his head and looked at her, "Are you sure you're using a peaceful tone when talking to me now?"
"I'm just sure that I have plans tonight, so I don't have time to go with you."
Skyler Jones slightly furrowed his brow, "Plans?"
"Yes."
"Jonathon Gibson?"
Christine Quinn mimicked his usual dismissive manner, squinting her eyes slightly, "Are you sure you're not prying into my personal affairs now?"
Faced with her sharp retort, Skyler Jones stopped fiddling with his cuff, and like a dangerous jaguar, he strutted elegantly up to her.
He looked down at her condescendingly.
Her gaze was uncompromising.
He chuckled, lifting her beautiful chin, and said gently, "When I have plans with you, you'd better cancel all other dates because... being Mrs. Jones isn't that easy."
