It seems that Shadow is pushing Su Ming'an onto the divine throne.
But Shadow knows in his heart that actually, as a human, Su Ming'an most closely resembles the concept of a deity. His actions of pushing Su Ming'an [onto the divine throne] are, in essence, pulling him [down from the divine pedestal].
Only by becoming a deity can Su Ming'an be the most free, with no responsibilities. If he were to return from deity to human... he would instead become, in the truest sense... the kind of deity most full of divinity.
Shadow covered his face and laughed out loud.
The laughter was clear like the wind.
"So it's still impossible... impossible."
"You would never agree, not once, not ever, no matter what..."
Su Ming'an quietly gazed at Shadow.
