Su Ming'an got off the carriage and saw a white-haired, green-eyed young man stumbling towards him.
Blood-red bow tie gemstone, deep red cape, small brown vest. It seemed to be Lv Shu himself.
"...Lv Shu?" Su Ming'an stepped forward and noticed Lv Shu's eyes had turned red.
...
Lv Shu walked forward.
Something seemed to be roaring within his blood vessels, and he heard the sound of blood rushing wildly, as if watching an old, worn-out film, all a blur of whiteness.
...Where was he going? What was he meant to do?
His thoughts were a tangled mess; a strong hunger made him feel like he was back at that dumpster in winter, desperately wavering between pride and instinct. All his senses had shrunk immensely, except the emptiness in his stomach which had swollen drastically.
"Sir? Sir? Are you alright, do you need help?" A passerby noticed him and approached, waving a hand.
Lv Shu's face was excessively pale, and his green pupils glistened with a layer of bright red.
