"That isn't possible," he gave me a kind smile, "I'd have to break protocol and we all know how the king is about that."
"I'm currently investigating a closed case. It never went to court but was settled within the royal family. I don't think there is any protocol to break there."
He pressed his lips together and frowned deeply as he was in thought. He constantly shook his head as if debating with himself but when he looked out his glass doors and saw the imposing face of Adonis looking at him. The man was good with propaganda. There was a picture of him at every department and that always seemed to keep the staff at check.
"I cannot, my Knight," he partially bowed, "I am loyal to the King and the throne and that involves the rules. If you had a letter from the King pardoning this one case then I would be more than happy to assist," he gave me a mega smile and I realized despite the man's intelligence he was just like Cloud.
