Mason Quinn was taken aback, then smirked, "I'm quite fine the way I am now."

When faced with death, people often change, and her temperament now was a thousand times better than what was on record.

Though she liked to stir things up and was arrogant and reckless, she wasn't detestable.

"Gossip, chatter," Claire Green chuckled lightly, "quite befitting of the Quinn family's heir."

Everyone present was shrewd enough to catch the double entendre in her teasing.

"Haha," George Xyler laughed out loud.

Even Julian Sia couldn't help but smile; the girl sometimes really had a way with words.

"Claire Green, don't make it personal." Mason Quinn's clear voice carried a hint of displeasure.

Claire Green's smile was ambiguous as she prolonged her response, "Oh."

Casually, she said, "I was complimenting you, how is that personal?"
