The office fell silent in an instant, every face wearing an incredulous expression.
A moment passed.
Finally, someone broke the silence.
"Could you have made a mistake?"
The teacher responsible for grading the papers glared, "How could I make a mistake? Her name is right there on the paper."
Everyone heard this and found themselves in a swirl of complex emotions.
If it were someone at the top of the grade, it would make sense, but why is it the very last?
Someone, seemingly out of nowhere, suddenly suggested, "Why don't you put the paper aside for a while, and we'll discuss it after everyone finishes grading their own papers."
"I agree with William, let's finish the grading first, everyone!"
A few looked at each other, their feelings mixed, and returned to their seats to grade papers quietly.
