"What are you saying, asking for leave again?"
Grace Carter looked at the girl standing in front of her with a headache, all her career's good temper and helplessness given to her.
Claire Green stood lazily, her eyes slightly lowered as she nodded.
Seeing this, Grace Carter advised earnestly, "Even though you have good grades, you can't be too arrogant. Look at how many times you've taken leave since school started. Why not let it go this time?"
Claire Green raised an eyebrow. Was this a disguised refusal?
Suddenly.
Claire Green's voice rose lightly, "Taking leave is still a perfect score."
As soon as she spoke.
Grace Carter's mouth twitched visibly; her arrogant attitude was really asking for a scolding, yet her flawless face made it impossible to act.
"No," Grace Carter looked at her gently, "tell me what you're taking leave for this time?"
Instantly.
She saw the corners of the girl's eyes lift and a playful, roguish smile curl at her lips.
