It's night.
Claire Green lazily towel-dried her hair, while her phone on the bed kept vibrating. She glanced at it with a faint smile.
Wondered how long my brother could hold out.
"Hello." Her voice was husky and laid-back.
"Claire, is everything sorted?"
A man's voice, deep and magnetic, came through the phone, inexplicably causing a shiver.
Claire's eyes narrowed playfully, her red lips curving mischievously, "Tsk, if you miss me, just say it, no need for roundabout words."
On the other end, Julian Sia's eyes darkened slightly. He didn't need to guess to know that Claire must be smiling brilliantly now.
A moment passed.
He chuckled lowly, "It's good you know, Claire. So when do you plan to come home?"
Claire paused, the image of the place he called home surfacing in her mind, and her lips unconsciously curved even higher.
Her tone carried a hint of joy, "The day after tomorrow at the mansion."
