The girl's smile grew more and more twisted as time went on, even her canines grew into fangs as she displayed her white teeth with a big grin.
"Who are you?" Facing an enemy for which she had no information, Shoka tried to dig something up through dialogue.
The enemy's transformation seemed to make her a lot more talkative.
"Call me Id!" The demonic looking girl brightly replied.
Shoka formulated her next line carefully . . .

Before the Jinchuriki could even open her mouth, a small boot was planted on her face.
Tumbling through the air and repeatedly bashing into the deceptively hard blood sea beneath her, Shoka made use of the smaller tree to slow down.
Meaning her flying body crashed and smashed through multiple trees before losing speed.
On all fours on the "ground", Shoka coughed blood as she got up, the vitality of a Jinchuriki was nothing to scoff at.
Immediately, malevolent red chakra surged around her, so dense it became solid and heavy even without a jutsu to shape it.
Cocooning around the JInchuriki, it heralded Shoka's transition into Version 2 Tailed Beast Cloak, skipping Version 1 entirely.
Unlike the vaguely beast shaped, see-through red chakra of Version 1, this transformation covered the user in a dense dark red chakra that obscured all of their features and made them look like a silhouette of their Tailed Beast.
In Shoka's case, she became a cat-like monster with a few humanoid features and two tails swishing behind her.
'Don't drop Version Two until we get a read on that so-called Id, you won't be able to tank her attacks otherwise but don't go into Tailed Beast Mode or commit to any large attacks either.' Matatabi advised her Jinchuriki.
'I know. The whole situation is weird and so is this space, it feels different than genjutsu yet somehow similar, we can't be sure the enemy can be damaged or defeated in this space but, maintaining this definitely uses up a lot of chakra.' Shoka responded.
'That's right. Attrition is a Tailed Beast's best friend in battle. We can be defeated but in terms of chakra volume, we cannot be beaten.' The Two Tails assured.
'Except for freaks like that damnable Hashirama Senju . . . Grrr. . .' She added just to herself.
"Done with your little mental strategy meeting? Shiki-nii said you can learn a lot from your enemies, especially when you can read their thoughts like me.' Id "cutely" tilted her head.
"Alas! The only thing I've learned is how delusional you are. How unfortunate!" The girl took great pleasure in tasting the emotions provoked by her words.
"Wh-!" Shoka opened her mouth only to get another foot planted on her face before she could get a single word out.
This time though . . .
Acrobatically shifting mid air, the jinchuriki dug chakra claws into the Blood Sea-like "ground" and stopped herself, the Version Two Cloak had also rendered the damage from the kick itself insignificant.
*clap, clap, clap*
"Nicely done!" Id exclaimed.
"How about this then?" The devious manic grin never left the girl's face from the beginning.
Suddenly, the Blood Sea, which had remained very similar to solid ground, opened up below Shoka and tried to pull her down into the depths.
With a Tailed Beast Roar, the Jinchuriki pushed the water back with the sheer force of her chakra but Id was not done.
The viscous blood-like substance that made up the sea, suddenly split into countless tentacles full of evil intent.
If he were here, Shiki would have been immediately reminded of some very not safe for work kind of things from his previous world.
A Jinchuriki however, was not so easy to restrain.
Lashing out with her cat claws, Shoka unleashed bursts of Tailed Beast chakra, blowing away the blood tentacles.
Free from obstruction, the Kumo kunoichi leapt into the air and gathered chakra in her mouth.
Id's demonic yellow eyes narrowed as her grin became even more mocking.
The smaller, twisted black trees jutting out of the blood sea . . .
Their canopy of leafless branches suddenly grew and shot through the air at binding speed.
Mid air and charging an attack to boot, Shoka was helpless and multiple twisted wooden spikes pierced her . . .
Or they would have if not for the superb defensive capabilities of the Version 2 Tailed Beast Cloak.
However, the wooden spears still smashed her back into the Blood Sea which promptly swallowed her.
Despite it feeling like near solid ground before, now that she was below the surface, Shoka could not sense a bottom.
The viscous liquid shifted around her body entangling her hastening her descent into the blood red abyss.
'No choice . . .' The Kumo kunoichi internally declared.
With a thunderous blast a huge portion of the Blood Sea above Shoka's previous position, was instantly evaporated as an enormous pillar of blue flame with black markings shot into the sky.
Then, within the fire, two pupilless eyes formed, the left yellow and right green, both glaring and the still grinning Id.
The pillar of flame twisted and transformed, assuming the shape of an enormous two tailed cat covered in blue and black flames.
A feline roar filled with potent chakra shook the space as Matatabi announced its manifestation with Shoka's full Tailed Beast Transformation.
"Wow . . . pretty!" A completely out of place comment slipped from Id's mouth.
It was not a provocation, the girl merely never gave it much thought before she opened her mouth, always saying the first thing that comes to mind.
For the Jinchuriki and Tailed Beast pair however, it was ironclad proof that Id was not taking them seriously in the slightest.
How could a mere shinobi, even one boasting strange abilities such as hers, not be startled in the slightest at the sight of a fully unleashed Tailed Beast?
Secretly though, Matatabi sort of appreciated the comment, even if it was not the proper time to say it.
"So! What can you actually do other than making yourself into an even bigger punching bag?" Annnnd Id was back to her venomous words.
'Fire Release: Mouse Hairball'
In human form, it was a small black mouse figure covered in blue fire spat from the user's mouth that split into multiple seeking blue fireballs.
But in Matatabi's form, countless blue fireballs launched from her flaming body, covering the sky.
Each of them exploded like fireworks, unleashing even more fireballs.
And then, they fell.
Blue fire rained down, each "droplet" accurately chasing Id . . . or they would have, if she were making any attempt to move.
With the same unnerving grin plastered on her face, the girl sprouted black, bat-like demonic wings from her back as she hugged herself and shrunk into a ball . . .
Dark purple chakra began to gather around the Id's body and then . . . it was unleashed.
Spreading her wings and throwing her arms and legs out, the girl shouted with glee and anticipation . . .
"Get . . . BLASTED!"
