Roxy's POV
I don't know how he managed to do it. And I'm heading back home to find out how exactly he'd done it.
Within just three hours, our team made it back to the Tokyo headquarters. Gena and Akira had a long day themselves since they got posted to another site IMMEDIATELY. We didn't even say goodbyes before they ran off.
"Well," I heard the man's voice, turned around, "I guess you've been trained enough to catch your next chapter." It was fatty, Draevon.
"Yup," I smirked, "A chapter without you in it."
"Right. Good luck." And he left. That made my smile drop, though. What's gotten into him? Why did he smile at me like that? It was as if he'd lost all his will to fight!
Anyway, one moment I was outside the headquarters, the other, I blinked and reached my little apartment.
A penthouse, to be precise.
