From MC's Perspective:
The next morning, I woke from a deep sleep. I spent twenty minutes on my morning routine before heading to the control room to check the control mirror.
I stood in front of the control mirror and observed the scene outside. The landscape was open, filled with scattered tree leaves covering the ground.
I began to recall yesterday's attack. The Tree Monster possessed a mental attack ability. Not even a fraction of a second after its assault, I had fainted.
Fortunately, I had thought of the Gregor Mansion before losing consciousness. If I had tried to counterattack, the monster might have used its mental attack again.
I turned my attention to the status panel, focusing on my magic spells. My gaze settled on the Star Rune Spell.
A twinkle gleamed in my eyes. This wasn't the first time I had faced a mental attack; I had encountered one before.
Later, I discovered and mastered the Star Rune Spell. I believed I could use it against the Tree Monster.
